In studying the research, I adopted the descriptive approach, where the research aims to highlight the semantic efforts of Sheikh Siddiq Khan Al-Qanouji in his interpretation (Fatah Al-Bayan fi Maqasid Al-Qur’an), and infer the poetic evidence of ancient and modern poets, and the sayings and opinions of senior scholars of interpretation, ancient and modern, where the focus of the research was on some phenomena Semantic development such as semantic development, synonymy, antagonism, common verbal, semantic contrast, and a statement of Al-Qanouji's opinion on interpretation
