Abstract
This research examines the use of hyperbole as a rhetorical device in Prophetic Traditions. Hyperbole is a common feature in these traditions, and this research aims to clarify its positive side through an analysis of fifteen selected Hadiths. To analyse hyperbole in Prophetic Traditions, this research employs both linguistic and pragmatic analysis. The linguistic analysis focuses on the grammatical aspects of hyperbole, while the pragmatic analysis examines its function in different contexts. The data selection criteria for this research are based on the forms and functions of hyperbole. Then, this research presents some conclusions and references.
