Abstract
Gender differences are related to human behavior and actions. There are diverse opinions about the emergence of gender differences; some attribute it to biological aspects and others to cultural and social aspects of society. Even though the biological aspect has effects, but it is related to the social aspect predominantly.For this purpose, we present this concept from different perspectives based on scientific sources. Gender basically has different meanings. Here, the gender differences between male and female are shown, however, gender differences have changed over time, shaping social behavior in each era. In ancient times, it was based on oppression and imprisonment. In every era, it has often ended in the killing and destruction of women by their families.
