Abstract
This study dealt with the definition of Thamudic writing and the other names that were given to it throughout ancient times and eras, and an explanation of the reason for calling this writing by this name, and the definition of these peoples, and the relationship of this type of script to the Arabic script, and the similarities between them in terms of letters, and how to write those letters, and their number, and most of the inscriptions that the researchers found were There is clear evidence that there is a slight similarity between this type of writing and Arabic writing.
