Abstract
The research titled (Qur’anic intertextuality in the collection “The River Brought It” by the poet Muhammad Al-Suwaidi) dealt with the phenomenon of intertextuality, which is considered simultaneous across literary eras , But the poet presented it in an effective and influential way that gives the poetic texts the spirit of modernity, using the Qur’anic texts, which are the foundational building block for the creative recipient . This study employed poetic texts with deep Qur’anic connotations derived from the stories of the Prophets - peace be upon them - which confirm the poet’s mastery of the poetic language with precise words and beautiful rhetorical arts, using Qur’anic quotations full of expressive lessons and wisdom . Which confirms the poet’s endless adherence to the Holy Qur’an, which provided him with linguistic wealth, which made him employ intertextual words that came as illuminating keys that he used as evidence in his poems, and he documented the texts in a professional way that takes our imagination to vast Qur’anic worlds full of sensations and feelings.
