يقوم البحث على أساس بيان مظنة الاستلزام الحواري في التراث العربي من خلال الخطاب التفسيري في معالم التنزيل في تفسير القرآن للبغوي الحسين بن مسعود (ت516ه) رحمه الله تعالى، في محاولة لإعادة قراءة التراث العربي قراءة عصرية وفق منطلقات نقاد الحداثة أصحاب النظرية التداولية، لتحديد مقاصد الأداء اللغوي في الخطاب الديني حسب المبادئ التي ألمحها غرايس.
